This new strawberry bell truffle is a limited time collaboration between Taco Bell and Milk Bar that incorporates Taco Bell’s famous taco shell into a sweet Milk Bar Dessert.
This sweet limited edition desert is only available in a few locations in the United States for a limited 14 day run until August 16, 2022, or until supplies run out.
Let’s dig in…
How did the Strawberry Bell Truffle come to be?
“A collab with our brilliant friends at Taco Bell has been on my bucket list for some time.We white-boarded ideas and R&D’ed to seemingly no end, but then the masterminds of our culinary team, led by VP, Anna McGorman, struck sweet gold with this unique dessert that packs such delicious flavor and is a true meeting of minds who love to color outside the lines.”
– Christina Tosi, chef and founder of Milk Bar
What is the Strawberry Bell Truffle?
This collaboration combines Taco Bell’s iconic crunch taco shell with the icon and famous milk bar truffles.
Here’s our exclusive on the layers involved in this decadent treat!
Outer shell – this is made with a strawberry and sweet corn cake coating and it includes small pieces of Taco Bell’s iconic crunchy taco shell.
Cake – the cake is made with the classic vanilla cake that has put milk bar on the map. It includes small strawberry pieces and is soaked in strawberry milk.
Filling – the center of this delicious desert is a sweet corn fudge which gives it a deep yellow appearance that makes it look like an egg yolk.
Overall, the combination of flavors and textures is just too good to pass up. It is rather sweet but if you like Milk Bar sweet cake and you like Taco Bell taco shells, you will LOVE it!
“The Strawberry Bell Truffle is the first blend of its kind offered to consumers on a large testing scale of our brands,” said. This one-of-a-kind truffle is the fruition fueled by the friendship of a concept made possible by a mutual dedication to innovation.” — Taco Bell Executive Chef Renee Bisciotti.

Will there be future Milk Bar + Taco Bell Collaborations?
Most people don’t know this, but this is actually the 2nd Collaboration between Taco Bell and Milk Bar
In 2018, Taco Bell and Milk Bar partnered to create special desert nachos. These were introduced at Taco Bell’s 2018 “Friendsgiving Event” at their Irvine, CA headquarters.
The collaboration consisted of Milk Bar cookies that were cut into triangles to look like “chips.” It was then coated with a “nacho sauce” made out of dark chocolate fudge and vanilla cream. And finally it was topped with sweet desert toppings.
My hunch is there will be future collaborations for sure!
