Are you craving a taste of chocolate with a minty peppermint inside? If so, the York Peppermint Pattie is the ultimate option for you. It is a dark chocolate pattie that melts in your mouth as soon as you bite into it. It is a peppermint confection that was introduced in 1940 and is currently manufactured by the Hershey Company.
The candy features powerful flavors of its ingredients, as well as dark chocolate, and it is considered one of the classics of the United States.
And my personal suggestion – buy a bag of these and keep some frozen in the freezer! This magnifies the cool and mint sensation. You will always have one available and will love them frozen!
