DOTS candy has been America’s most popular candy since 1945. Nearly every kid and adult knows about these chewable, cone-shaped candies that look like DOTS. These gumdrops are produced by Tootsie Roll Industries and come in multiple colors and flavors.
According to PETA, the DOTS candy is 100% vegan, whereas the Tootsie Roll’s website says that the DOTS candies are also gluten-free, peanut-free, kosher, and nut-free. The candies were originally produced by Mason in 1945, after which they were acquired by Tootsie Roll Industries in 1972.

- Modified Food Starch
- Malic Acid
- Artificial and Natural Flavors
- Sodium Citrate

All the DOTS candies have a subtle fruity flavor with a nice texture. They are soft and easy to choose from but are sticky like any other candy. However, you won’t find them as sticky as typical chewy candies. They are light on your teeth.
