Jack in the Box offers tacos at their fast food chain which is unusual for a burger joint.. These tacos are made of hard-shell tortillas and filled with meat, American cheese, taco sauce, and shredded lettuce. And then they are deep fried. They have been on the menu for many decades and remain a cult favorite of sorts. Some people hate them, but many others LOVE them!
I am one of those people that loves them!
These tacos are easy to eat—one of the reasons people love them. They only cost $0.99 for two tacos. Jack in the Box is a fast food restaurant, so burgers and sandwiches are popular items, but tacos have been around since the 1950s and many people have gotten attached to the flavor.
Jack in the Box had tested many variants, discontinuing them when the flavor or form didn’t work out. Some of the discontinued items on the menu are Monster Taco and Super Taco. The popular ones that continue to rule the Taco section of the Jack in the Box menu are Two Tacos and Tiny Tacos.

History of Jack in the Box Tacos
Jack in the Box has gone through various phases to become the popular name that we know today. As a fast food chain, it has served everything categorized as “fast food.” However, adding tacos to the menu was a genius move that got customers to expect the unexpected from Jack in the Box.
The restaurant chain has been serving tacos since the 1950s and has tested many variations over the decades. Some variations continue to impress the customers, while others have been discontinued due to a decrease in sales. One of them is Monster Taco which was discontinued in 2009, brought back in 2013, and discontinued again in 2019.
Jack in the Box also acquired Del Taco, another major fast food restaurant chain, in 2022.
Jack in the Box – Two Tacos
Two tacos per serving is the trademark of Jack in the Box. The restaurant chain has been offering two tacos for $0.99 for ages without making changes to the taste.
Some people argue that Jack in the Box tacos are unhealthy as the ingredients do not offer any nutritional value, but many would simply agree that the tacos are delicious and they like them.
The shell is a U-shaped corn tortilla filled with a paste. American cheese with beef, shredded lettuce, and taco sauce inside crunchy corn tortillas are perfect for a late-night snack.
The Jack in the Box tacos contain soy, milk, and wheat, so do not eat them if you are sensitive to any of these allergens.

There are two variations of tiny tacos: regular tiny tacos and loaded tiny tacos.
Tiny Tacos
If there’s anything better than tacos, it’s tiny tacos in a box! These tacos are the mini versions of the regular Jack in the Box tacos with a slight difference.
Instead of adding lettuce, taco sauce, and cheese after frying the tacos, they simply leave those ingredients and serve 15 tiny tacos in a box with a dipping sauce, probably Creamy Avocado Lime sauce. As for the allergens, tiny tacos have wheat, so you can avoid these tacos if you are allergic to wheat.
Jack in the Box Tiny Tacos are similar to frozen mini tacos except for more meat filling. If you can look past the appearance, Tiny Tacos taste flavorful and crunchier than the regular Two Tacos.
