What is Wax Lips Candy?
Wax Lips is one of the unique candies made of food-grade & edible paraffin wax. Red color is added to make it look like oversized lips and they come with a plate to bite at the back, so you can hold it between your teeth and wear it comfortably at a party or to joke around with your friends. Once you bite it between your lips, it covers your whole lips, and there you go, you got a hilarious oversized pair of bright red lips.
Wax Lips candy have always been a popular birthday or party item, but their popularity skyrockets during Halloween. Kids and adults love it not just for its taste but also for the comedic look it has (and also for fun Instagram photos!).
Once you are done playing with the candy, you can chew it like gum.

For those of you wondering what paraffin wax is, it is a byproduct left during processing kerosine oil. It sounds weird that people would eat a candy made of kerosene oil byproduct, but John made an amusing, witty product, and people rushed to buy it.
Wax lips were always trendy candy and still are since 1924; they are especially in demand during Halloween. In 2002 Concord Confections launched their Wack-o-Wax lips candy through Tootsie-Roll as they secured the patent for the design of the wax lips candy in the year 2002
