Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar has its origins from the Fruity Pebbles Cereal that was launched in 1971 after its company, Post Consumer Brands, received licensing rights from Hanna-Barbera for featuring the Flintstones characters on the packaging and using their names. The name “Pebbles’ ‘ came from Fred and Wilma’s daughter from the show and the packaging of the candy bar, even now, features Fred at the front.
The Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar was released in October 2020 in collaboration with Frankford Candy which featured a white creamy chocolate base with a hint of milk and crispy cereal pieces. Two more flavors of the Pebbles Candy bar were also well-received by the public as they were released after the initial Fruit Pebbles Candy Bar launch.
